Arena Etiquette
Please try to observe the following arena procedures during these long winter months of indoor riding.
- Remember to pass oncoming traffic left shoulder to left shoulder.
- Make sure to call your line when jumping if there are other riders in the arena.
- No more than one horse is to be lunged at a time when there are other riders in the arena.
- No cracking lunge whips when others are riding.
- If others are waiting to lunge, please limit your time to no more than 10 minutes.
- If
your horse urinates in the arena, make sure to rake it thoroughly to
disperse it through a large area of sand. Otherwise, we'll have frozen
footing wherever "accidents" occur.
- Please refrain from riding through circle areas being used by trainers and students.
- Always yell "Door!" when entering the arena from any door including the lean-to area.

Farrier Footnotes
Bill
Freitag comes to Wyndem Rose every Monday. If you'd like him to
trim/shoe your horse, make sure to add your horse's name to the list on
the bulletin board outside the tack room. Remember to tack your check
to the board and put a "No Turnout" notice on your horse's stall on
Sunday night.
Remember to Worm
Worming
is a very important responsibility of the horse owner. If you are
unsure of how often/when your horse needs to be wormed, please consult

is also the horse owner's responsibility to inform barn management upon
completion of each worming. Thanks for keeping all our horses healthy
and parasite-free!
Leather & Blanket Repairs
Did
you know we have a masterful repairer of horse blankets and leather
tack in our barn? It's Pat Noone! So if you are in need of Pat's
services, please ask Cathy for her contact information.
Exercise Rides/Grooming Help
Too
busy to ride as often as your horse needs it? Traveling this season?
If you are looking for experienced and qualified riders to help you
keep your horse in shape on those occasions when you can't, leave a
note on the bulletin board for Rachel or Lara.

Selling Your Horse?
If you are selling your horse and want it listed on the Wyndem
Rose Stables website, please fill out a Horse For Sale form (located on the
bulletin board by the lounge) and place in Jeanette Marino’s locker. Alternatively, you may e-mail your
information as long as it contains ALL
the information that is listed on the form.
You may submit up to 3 digital pictures per horse (no larger than 250KB
each).
Tack Swap Submissions
A new page titled "Tack Swap" has been added to the website allowing boarders to buy and sell tack and horse-related items.
If you would like to sell an item on this page, please submit an e-mail with the following information:
